Normally it takes me about 20-30 minutes to be awake enough to do anything beyond stumbling around with my eyes closed (this is without coffee). If I have something I really need to do, though, like catch a plane, I'll be properly awake in about five minutes. I think the panic is what does it! :p

When I was working and there was an compelling force, I get up as soon as I wake up or as soon as I turn the alarm off. But now that I'm unemployed it sometimes takes up to 2 hours before I get wide awake. I keep dozing on and off.

I have 2 hours before I get into bed and I could probably end up with 2 hours of sleep. Now, that in a way would impact on the time I will wake up but since I have a tight schedule tomorrow, I will have to be up early.

Normally, I do laze around until I see the need for breakfast.

I sleep right after work most of the time, therefore NO alarm. I lay in bed for a half hour or so.
When I do use an alarm I can go from alarm to out the door in 10 minutes. (On less than 5 hours of sleep even.)
And apparently I resurrect a 3.5 year old thread on my second post.
