I am seeking to know some of the tips to help lengthen the life of any model's battery. I once heard that you should not charge while at the same time using the same machine. You will be simply draining all the energy out of it.

I have seen a similar thread somewhere. Anyway, when I got my first laptop I searched for this topic because I don't see the point of using the battery at home when you can just plug the machine all the time. So I think if you want to lengthen the life of your battery then don't use it when you're at home.

In other words, do not use it while it is connected to the power? I would use it while at home until the battery perhaps died, charge it, then get back to using it.
