I just read that the keyboard on the CR-48 has no function keys and no caps lock key. How does this make you feel? I think the lack of a caps lock key is perfectly fine for me. I have found that most people who use it don't really have a need to.

I use the keys that replaced the function keys all the time. Because none of the OS or applications that require function keys are designed to run on the Chromebooks, those keys aren't missed.

As for caps lock...I much prefer the search function that Google assigns in place of the caps lock.

I think I will prefer the search function in place of the caps lock key as well. It just serves a more reasonable function. I have probably only used the caps lock key once on my new laptop but I have used search more times than I could ever count.

I've never used it either but it sounds functional. I don't need a caps lock so I'm content with what I hear about it. I'm excited to use one though I'm picky about keyboards.

Do you have a screen shot of what it looks like? I've never actually seen the keyboard on the CR-48.

I have never set my eyes on this kind of keyboard as well but I once came across a post that had all the shortcut keys to the Chromebook. Lacking the Caps lock would still work fine for me.

I am confused. I rarely, maybe never use the function keys but caps lock is something I like. I am guessing you can still press shift to get a capital, right?

I am used to the Cap key being gone...every chrome shortcut is ctr or alt so..don't need func...
