As it turns out, boot-ups and resume-from-sleep times are at least 32 percent faster with the newest Chrome OS system update. Who's complaining? Read more

Can anybody verify the boot times are faster?

But if offline mode for gmail, doc are supported, that would be a BIG BIG plus.

Mine seems to be a smidgen quicker, though admittedly that could just be in my head.

They are in the process of redo-ing support for this.

Gmail has a separate offline mode chrome app, and apparently Google Docs doesn't have a separate app but it's in the settings(haven't checked on this one yet).
