Listing ebay auctions

I'm having the same problem. I bought my chromebook mostly so I could list ebay items. I can't load pictures.

Pictures...


WhatsHerName, what problems are you having, loading pictures... Do you mean putting images into post contributions, putting them into a photo album or saving them on your Chromebook??? The latter is the easiest to do...

I list stuff all the time on ebay & dont have any problem posting pictures . first , i take pics with my samsung galaxy note 2 cell phone . second, sync pics to google drive ( in cloud ). third , load pics to ebay from google drive . very easy . Bob

It's the photos that are the problem on eBay.

Like others here, I have found it impossible to list items on eBay using my Chromebook - simply because it asks for a web address for a photo, which I don't have. I will try Bob's solution, but I still don't think I will be able to load a photo onto eBay from Drive. I tried loading a photo onto Facebook from Drive, and was told several times that there was an Error, so I don't think Facebook likes Drive photos either!

Hi. That's not really the point. I would be able to load photos from Google Drive easily enough BUT the Chromebook ONLY allows eBay listings via html ie the photos can only be loaded from a web page. You are presumably using Google Drive but NOT listing through a Chromebook. Google Drive gives you a File name, NOT a web address, which the eBay/Cbook combination doesn't allow for.

Hi Robbie. I don't think the problem with eBay listings ie including photos has really been understood or answered. I would be able to load photos from Google Drive easily enough BUT the Chromebook ONLY allows eBay listings via html ie the photos can only be loaded from a web page ie eBay demands an html address for each photo. Google Drive gives you a File name for the photo, NOT a web address, which the eBay/Cbook combination doesn't allow for. I think that is the problem which we are all facing, and it is a major restriction on using a Chromebook.

ok , i only listed on ebay a couple times but this is how i did it . i take a picture of item to sell with my note 2 cell phone camera . while still on my cell phone i open the google drive app & upload the photo from my gallery ( on cell phone ) to google drive . now i start my hp chomebook 14 up . go to ebay and start listing . when posting photos open google drive and post photos . this worked for me 6/12/2014 , that was the last time i sold on ebay . also, i think the picture is a jpg file .
