Well silly me. About a year ago, my wife bought an Apple Ipad and I was being smart and bought a Chromebook. We went to Europe and I used hangouts, with no trouble, to coordinate travel plans etc. with friends there. Later, I did the same around the States. But CBook was crashing and constant problems (my wife was laughing at me) so I sent it to Samsung repair. When I got it back, the mic in hangouts wouldn’t work. I did not change any settings in Hangouts before Samsung repair (no need). I’ve been trying Ninjas but we’re about 10-12 emails now with no result. So I thought to try some forums. I have a lot of screenshots if they will help.
