My Chromebook arrives next week and I want to use Microsoft Office 365. I was searching for information about the compatibility of Chromebook (OS) and Office 365 and found an older article that noted Office 365 would not run on Chrome OS, and I have seen nothing else since..

Does anyone have any insights on this issue.

Tested: Word, Excel, and Powerpoint...Opened a Document (uploaded via Thumb from work machine). Logged in on my CR-48 (half the power of the samsung) and edited all documents...Worked perfectly!

Exchange in the cloud worked as well. The only thing is there shitty messaging system..that required an install.

Me too! I just bought the Samsung Chromebook and in a trial business account for Office 365. No trouble using the Chrome browser on my Dell Laptop, but cannot open the documents on the chromebook in the actual/full app. Opening in the web app works but some formatting is messed up. Any thoughts?
