It's nice to find a forum for advice on my new Asus 11" Chromebook (only $99 so I'm not expecting much from it!).
It only comes on if it's plugged in ... once it's on it works fine unplugged, for hours, and will sleep/wake up when I close/open it. In other words, when unplugged it doesn't power up when I first open it, or even if I press the power button (which can't be used to turn it off either!)
I saw online someone said to open the case and unconnect/reconnect the battery, as it might currently be incorrectly connected, and I could do that if I thought it'd work.
