I guess it would take sometime before we replace the notion that we are used to in Microsoft. For example, Microsoft Office is replaced with Google docs, but what about the fact that there is no CAPS lock button?
I've seen some people use caps lock even when typing just one capital letter - mainly older ladies who learnt to touch type on mechanical typewriters that required some force to hold both shift and a letter at the same time.
If you're not one of these people, then it's unlikely that you'll miss the caps lock key. I've had my CB for a month or so now and have barely noticed that it isn't there.
IIRC there is a way to reconfigure the search key as caps lock if you really feel you need it.
For the few times CAPLOCK is needed pressing both shift keys to get the lock and then again to release it isn't much of a hardship/learning-curve. It's not super fast but I've gotten used to it.
Or go into the settings and change the function of the 'magnifying-glass' search key to CAPS LOCK function. That means you don't have to change your hand behaviour at all.
