for Chromebook, how do I view pictures on my Google Drive offline?
sting919,

Only some photo suggestions, once you have added off line drive capability.

Remember you may not have a lot of hard drive memory on your system, and you may have a lot more on-line storage. 32 Gig flash cards are very affordable, and can hold a lot of photos if they are not in RAW format, or very large tif files. Saw a 1 TB external hard drive for less than $60 on newegg.com the other week.

Yes you can add external HD and copy to and from from a memory card. ChromeOS has a basic file manager which can be accessed using CTRL+M

Namida,

Thanks for your thoughts. I was hoping to understand if there is a way to view pics that are already stored on google drive online "offline" using the laptop's internal hard drive (Acer C7 comes with 300gb so hoped to put it to use).

I'm new to the chrome OS, but was wondering if there is a function similar to Google Drive/Dropbox on PC where when you install the "Google Drive Program", and it downloads a folder and copies of your Google Drive files onto your local hard drive so that you can still access and view files (e.g. jpeg pictures) when not connect to internet.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thx!
