In the future I'd like to see a Chromebook that was more customizable. Like, one where you could switch out the memory for something better, or where you could stick in a bigger harddrive. It's just weird to me to think that the Chromebook can't be updated very easily!

If everything is supported and updated in the cloud what is the point of storage? The memory is already 2Gig of DDR3 (best that is supported by the Atom right now)...It has 3G EVDO and GSM...Bluetooth..there really isn't much to add.

Brittney is obviously a Windows gal. When we are used to Windows machines and all the cool customizations that we can implement, well, something plain and uncustomizable seems a bit tame!

Haha, you caught me! I guess I'm so used to upgrading/editing my laptops/desktops/whatever that not having to do that is really weird. It's also really weird not having to worry about things slowing down/clogging up and having to defrag or do a virus scan, or any of those other things...

And, it's their first public machine. There'll be much more (or less) after they receive and study all the user experiences. That's one reason I went with the lower cost Acer, for now.
