Since most mobile broadband data plans have a limit on the amount of data (such as Verizon Wireless with 100MB a month for free), does the OS look for and/or automatically download updates when only connected to 3G?

As far as i know Chrome OS will update whenever it has any type of active internet connection 3G/Wifi or ethernet.
