What points? what pros and cons are you pointing out? Which and what concerns? For the use that i plan to have it for which is my mobile computer on the go, which mostly consist of browsing and other things and also having the important files on that computer that are needed at the time. Other than that i do not intend on using the chromebook as a full fledged laptop for my needs.

I have observed reactions in the computing world concerning the Chromebooks and I am just wondering if the opponents actualy have a point?
Of course they have a point. We are no longer in a 'one size fits all' situation. You can compute using a desktop, laptop, netbook, chromebook, smartphone or even a television. They all have pros and cons, and they all have their niche. We should each choose the right set of devices to suit our lifestyle.

Check my earlier posts for a handy diagram that helps with this :)

I suppose the other thing to think about is that a lot of complaints about the OS know make sense, but as time goes on more and more web solutions will be in place that close the gap between what an a-typical laptop can do in comparison to the Chromebook.
