I have had problems with two Acer laptops in the past. How can I expect the Acer Chromebook to be different from the previous Acers I had in the past? Is quality expected to be better?
Acer is generally a cheaper sub brand as they are made in Taiwan, but the build quality should be wayyy better than those crappy HP laptops sold.
As for this i don't think google would allow them to release a product with poor durability due to the fact these are their FIRST product launches and should of too much of an issue.
I've had a mixed experience with Acer as well. Though I wouldn't rule them out automatically, I'd wait for the post-release reviews to come out before considering buying one.
BTW, can anyone comment on the relative quality of their customer service?
