I recently purchased an Acer Chromebook and i set myself up using my gmail account and wanted to know how do i go about removing myself as the owner from this Chromebook?

Normally the Owner couldnt removed. Only additional Users coule be removed.
If you want to get the Acer in factory fresh state you have to recover your

Thanks, I tried going through the steps by using a USB flash drive to create a recovery disk however i get an error when it trys to write a temp file at the end of the disk creation and when i try to do the recovery it says try again unrecoverable error. Is there another method to getting the recovery disk onto a flash drive? or could it be since im using Google Chrome on my PC that im getting the error? I tried IE 9 to create the recovery disk and got the same error.

I was able to create a recovery disk on the chromebook itself with a USB flash drive. Please disregard my message above. Thanks for the help!
