I've been watching the development of robotics over the past few years, and I think it's really interesting! I mean, the more humanoid ones are a bit creepy, but I love that technology is moving forward so fast.

Does anyone here like robots, too?

I love that we have Android phones, but what I really want is an Android like Data from Star Trek The Next Generation. I can only imagine the things I could get done with something like that around the house.

Is it just me that would rather have Pris from blade runner?

I'm kind of scared of sentient robots! If we had to have robots beyond what we already have come up with, I'd rather have the Isaac Asimov sort of robots, where there's rules that they can't kill us. I definitely do NOT want the kind of robots that are in the Matrix.

I love stories and novels about roboters.. Isaac Asimov was a genius (the rules are a great idea)! But thinking of a future like that is really scary. The newer developments scare me also a little bit, Well, let's see what will happen in 10-20 years. I'm very curious.
