I have followed others instructions to program the 3g card in the Samsung Series 5 to work off the Sprint network rather than Verizon but it is not working. Here is what I am doing:
I TYPE:
crosh> modem set-carrier Sprint
RESPONSE IS:
Seting Carrier to Sprint. This could take up to two minutes
Using modem org/chromium/ModemManager/Gobi/13
Error org.chromium.ModemManager.Error.FirmwareLoad: UpgradeFirmware
Is there another firmware or patch that I need to use with sprint? I've tried using Generic and Vodafone and do not get this error... only happens with Sprint which is the carrier I need. Any thoughts?
