I have been trying to find if you will be able to save data to a flash drive. I know you have the ability to play/upload your data from the drive, but can't find if you can save to it from the "cloud".

I am still new to all of this, what do you mean CD-R8 users. I mean there has to be a way to save the data to flash on all of the Google Chrome Books, other wise it will be a turn off, especially for students.

I think he meant CR-48 which was the prototype chromebook released to demo-ers last year.
He did but once people start replying, I couldn't edit my post.:eek:

I wish you Ronaldst were right :).
If I read correctly the file browser eventually landed into ChromeOS and added the ability for people to use their SD cards properly. I think it's probably safe to say that USB flash drives will/do work.
