Having gone through 2 pixels already within the first few mintues out of the box the screen has pixel lines running down them (5-6) that don't disappear. Just curious if anyone else had these problems and if there's a fix for it or is it just bad luck and I will need to keep getting replacements until the right one comes along.

Sounds like a problem with the flexible cable that connects the computer to the screen display. It is a common problem with laptops because cables can snag on hinges, become hot and turn brittle, or just not be flexible enough, etc.

Some companies just leave you to suffer. Brands with a reputation to protect in this space work hard to mitigate the problem. MacBooks are carefully designed and tend to resist this fault, DELL tend to send cheap replacement cables, etc.

I suggest approaching Google for a fix and see what happens. Can you let us know how you get on?
