Too many tasks

UPDATE. I have removed Play Store and all the "green" tasks are gone.Hello,
The task manager shows around a hundred tasks. It does not happen in guest mode. What's the deal? OS is 83. Toshiba Chromebook 2 (CB35 -C3350). The fan randomly runs in high speed for no visible reason.
