I have a Toshiba CB30-C (C = Canadian model?) that I purchased in 2015. It was my daily driver up until earlier this year, when it suffered from the ''Blue Screen of Death''.
I have since replaced it but would like to retrieve about 12 GB of data stored on the SSD, as you folks know better than myself, that Powerwashing will delete all of this.
Question please: since the SSD is removeable (via screws) would it be possible to buy a similar model CB30 (or CB35, if applicable) and swap the SSD in order to retrieve this data?
There still are Toshiba Chromebooks from this era on the used market, so it wouldn't be too expensive if this is a workable solution.
Any advice much appreciated, from a non-technically oriented chromebook user from Canada.
