Hello,
I have an Asus Chromebook Flip Z7400FF. I need to transfer files from MacOS (High Sierra) to Chromebook. Is there a way to do it directly, without using Google Drive? I have tried a USB-USBc cable and the Mac has not detected the device. Thanks

I case you didn't find a solution yet ;-)
It's correct the Mac can't see the Chromebook as a drive over USB. The fastest way to transfer a lot of files is to do it by USB-stick or external USB-drive. But in the end you will probably need the files to be in the cloud, so uploading to the cloud from your Mac seems to be the most logical way.
