Is it possible to have two images open at the same time in different windows?

I can open two "Files" windows at the same time, but I want two "Gallery" windows at the same time... Any suggestions? Alternatives?

This seems like it should be incredibly easy, am I missing something??

Thanks!

If it's two copies of the Chromebook forum Photo Gallery: yes you can have two seperate copies running at the same time...

Simply open the first normally, then copy the address, open a new tab and paste the address into the empty address bar and hit the enter key... You can then switch from one to the other using the tabs...

Thanks for your response- I know web pages/chrome can do it. I was more interested in local files saved in the downloads folder, with the chromeOS gallery app...

Hmmmmmm... Doesn't this seem like a very basic/elementary feature...? I was on the main google chromebook forums and another user said this was possible before 'gallery' was introduced, and they seem to have taken a step backward in local image viewing after instating the update.

Anyone else come across any solutions? Or at least have wanted this feature implemented...?
