In remote areas without access to the cloud this could obviously be a bad thing, but a) in another half decade or so this kind of scenario may not even exist and b) I don't imagine too many people, given the choice, to solely use the Chromebook for all of their computing needs.Finally in case anything happens to your chrome book all you have to do is log on another chrome book and everything is still exactly the same.
