You can now upgrade your Google CR-48 beta machine to the "shipping version" of Chrome OS (the code name is R12, which is for Chrome 12 which will be the shipping version on the Chromebook)

The upgrade can be done automatically on your Cr-48

Click on the Wrench in the upper right corner and in the menu towards the bottom should be 'Update Chrome OS'.
Click on that and you are all set with the latest update.

Dev channel is up the 13 but the Mobile card doesn't work for it..my mine source of network connection...

New beta model cr48

just got mine today, and it comes with a newer version of the OS - the Verizon card hiccuped upon activation but they sorted it out with a phone call.

Yes beta was updated this weekend. I am finding Chrome 13 to be slower then the last beta 12 in the channel. On the upside though...I don't get "Aw snaps" or "He's Dead Jim" as much.
