I have come to realize, (after trying to upload about 30 videos) that although Chromebooks are good for browsing and gaming, they are slowed down easily with uploads. At first, I copied all the videos to the Google Drive in my computer. CRITICAL MISTAKE. This was not very convenient, because, although every time I turned on the computer, it synced all the videos, it slowed down my computer a great deal. Now, what I did with the remaining videos, I directly uploaded them to my Google drive on the internet, but it's still slow. And the worse is yet to come. I have two videos approximately 30 minutes long, and I rounded and calculated that my computer, on average, uploaded about 100 KB(.1gb) per second, and if that keeps going, I would upload the video in approximately 4 weeks and a half, non-stop.:eek:
:confused: :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:
What are the probabilities of that happening??? I was thinking that there should be and "uploading mode" for this computer for cases like this. Where no other unnecessary extension or application or similar things can use the internet while the upload is going on. I tried leaving my computer (fully charged) on all night, but it doesn't upload if the screen blacks out. So I have to constantly move it or use it in order to upload these videos. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad:
I have searched all over the web for answers, but only hear complaints about other people with the same problem. I also discovered that Chromebooks seem to be "failing" not many people are buying them. That's because they hear of these complaints from friends, family, online.... The point is: Please fix the problems!!!!

Ask yourself the important question my friend... Are you trying to get a pit pony, to do the work of a shire horse...

When the Google techs were designing and building the CB, I doubt very much they had visions of this little machine doing the type of work you are expecting of it...

As far as I've been able to establish, the CB is great for all the basic browsing, documentation requirements and general printing needs of the average individual, doing a wonderful job in the process...
For the price one pays: it is exceptional... Easy to use (once you've got the hang of it) with the added bonus of keeping the mind on it's toes from start to finish...

Which Chromebook do you have? Depending on your CPU, this kind of file processing might become painful.

And 100 KB is definitely not 0.1 GB, do you mean 100 MB/s or do you mean 0.1 MB/s???
