USB2Serial Support

Does the Chromebook support USB2Serial? I just want to see if there is a way to manage Cisco routers and switches via a serial cable. If so, does it support any USB2Serial cable? Any terminal app recommendations?

As far as i know no known support for FTDI or Prolific usb to serial chipsets
