Virgin Mobile Broadband

I have the wireless version Acer Chromebook. I want to use Virgin Mobile boadband with it. Will it accept the usb dongal for connection or is the Virgin Mobile MiFi the only way to connect beside my home wifi connection?

I am not sure if software of the dongal will load to a chromebook.
