So Chromebook uses web-based applications and cannot store file in the device because it obviously doesn't have memory inside or out. That means I cannot install Filezilla and other softwares I use for my website. So it's not gonna be webmaster-friendly either, right? Anyway, I'm still excited for this device because it's a lot better than browsing on my phone when I'm out and about.

If your webhost uses cPanel that shouldn't be a problem. I know GoDaddy also has their own built-in Java FTP client...but I don't think Chromebooks support Java :(

For now I wouldn't classify the chromebook as a webmaster friendly computer since you can't store the things you need on the computer. But who knows, maybe their will be third party chrome apps you can use to manage your website.

Personally I wouldn't use a ChromeBook to manage websites knowing what it can and can't do at the moment.
