Apparently, this is an issue most soon-to-be Chromebook owners are tasking themselves upon but with the choice lying between Acer and Samsung, my guess is that it is pretty a straightforward at the moment?

I think it all comes down to if you want HDMI or not and your brand preference.

Acer Chromebook has HDMI while the Samsung Chromebook doesn't (VGA instead).

at the moment im undecided and putting off buying a chromebook for now, might get a chromebox.

I'd opt for the samsung one just for the extra Build quality that samsung offers with their products, i wouldnt need to use my chromebook i realized for any HDMI presentations as most projectors or what now still use VGA connections as far as an HDMI output i'll just my other computer for that usage.
