I'm curious what you guys think of whether Motorola would venture into the Chromebook space... my best guess is NO because for one they have enough on their plates trying to compete with iPhone and iPad... but they also seem to have a close relationship with Google.

It would be cool to see the Xoom with a keyboard, with Chromebook OS.

Actually, I don't see why not. Especially if they just focus on the hardware side of things and leave the ChromeOS to Google. The more OEMs that enter the Chromebook market the better for us users.

I sure hope not, Motorola has never really done well in the mobile stuff. They're phone operating system is one of the slowest and not-responsive ones I've ever experienced. I'd rather stick with a Samsung, quick and zippy :)

Motorola may pending on how well their laptop dock does i would assume, only due to the fact that it would be a directly competing product. against their cellular phones laptop dock . As it is quiet the usable round machine that is capable of running Microsoft and other things as well.

I think that they will, more and more mobile providers are starting to partner with computer manufactures to try to stay competitive. I would imagine by 3rd gen Motorola will have a Google Chromebook out.
