XE500C21, charging the physical battery instead of using charging port.

Ok so long story short. Little sister had a Chromebook and broke the charging port. I couldn't solder the new charging port. Wondering if I can just plug something into the 9 pin battery connector and charge it?


How can I accomplish this if I even can?
